Sridharan S. retired as the Managing Partner of Ernst & Young, Muscat, Oman, after a distinguished career spanning over 30 years with EY in the Middle East. During his tenure, he provided a comprehensive range of professional services and advised several Global Top 100 corporations across sectors including Technology, Oilfield Services, Financial Services, diversified conglomerates, EPC Construction, and Petroleum. Having lived in Muscat for more than three decades, he travelled extensively across the region and around the world. Sridharan was actively involved in community and professional organizations, serving as a Founder Member and later President of the Muscat Tamil Association, President of the Indian School, Founder Secretary of the NRI Economic Forum, and Founder Member of the Muscat Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. After retirement, he was nominated as an Independent Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government of Oman’s investment holding company for energy-related investments. He also served as an Independent Director of L&T Ship Building Limited until its merger with the parent company.
